If I went anything, it would be Bonetrail and 4GB of Dominator DDR3 1800C7
Which may or may not be in the works

yah but the red cooler is nicer unlike a band-aid with crossfire written on it!!!
Alright, alright, it's the performance that counts, right Chaos? How's Crysis treating your machine?
btw guys, i got my 620HX and was thinking of returning it and getting an ultra x3 (in the 600w range). Which one do you recommend? I'm off to see the spec differences between the two...

All I got to say is GOD DAMN!!!!! Chaos you must have quite the cash flow that rig is simply amazing, From the way it looks you won't need to upgrade for awhile. Although judging by the fact you already got rid of the hd2900 after what like three months of use for those 3870's I'm sure you have some other part(s) on your mind. By the way what did you do with that 2900? What kind of performance differences did you get there.

Thanks, the 2900XT I have for sale, its actually pending right now. Performance differences? Well the 3870 overclocks far beyond HD2900XT 1GB.... and runs alot cooler with those heatsinks I put on it. AA and AF handling is much better, and with the new BIOS I flashed to the 3870's that came out to fix the 860mhz max OC limit (due to a miss set option) and now they are flying

Quick tip..... get it onto a USB drive and follow these instructions..
techPowerUp! :: Guide to Video BIOS flashing
Then reboot, select the USB drive(or whatever you choose to use) as the main boot.... once loaded
Card 1 = Device ID - 0
Card 2 = Device ID - 1
So on and so forth, that being said also rename the BIOS to like 3870.bin
then type the following
atiflash.exe -f -p 0 3870.bin - First Card done
atiflash.exe -f -p 1 3870.bin - Second Card done
Reboot, and enjoy
If you want to see other commands within atiflash, just type in the prompt atiflash.exe
-i will give you info on the installed devices, and whatnot.

Cheers mate, you're a star! I'll definately give that a shot as soonas my card arrives.
I've just sold my X1900XT on ebay have no replacement to use in the meantime!!! Soon as I finish typing this message I'm turning off the PC & removing the card & posting it off. No Pc til the 3870 arrives.

so Santa bring you any watercooling yet? By the way skip on any special coolant. It is a complete waste of money, and most of them do not even work.

[Waaa off-topic, Sorry for the hi-jack]
Sounds about right. Ethylene Glycol is intended for rust prevention and preventing boil-over (higher boiling point than water), not heat transfer. Plus, it's bio-degradable - in water. (The Active Ingredient in Coolant is typically Ethylene Glycol.)
A 70% water 30% coolant mix is what I run in my brother's computer, though it's not exactly an overclocker.
Personally, I'd run like a 90%/10% mix - Coolant doesn't actually cool. It's just an additive intended for smooth operation and low-maintainence.
[/Waaay off-topic, Sorry for the hi-jack]
WTB Pics if liquid was on the list!
Edit:
Note: Ethylene Glycol is not to be confused with Polyethylene Glycol. The first is a coolant which is very toxic in humans, though it bio-degrades quickly. Polyethylene Glycol is a laxative, and found in Dr. Pepper.

Well Antifreeze is alright to a degree. I would stick with 10% or so if I were to use it. But myself I use 100% distilled/reverse osmosis water. Still haven't had anything grow in my loops
