no need to re-post my once awesome rig. it hasn't changed at all from the time i last posted pix about it.
well, i take that back. the only thing that keep changing on it is all that dust that accumulates, and then cleaned up when i get to clean it off .

Thx, I love it.. I got it t "Big Lots" of all places..
I went shopping one day all over the place to try to find the best deal. Went
to Office Max, Staples, couple of furniture stores, just all over. I went to
that Big Lots place and they had a couple of these on the floor. Nice
padding, real leather.. for 100 bucks. They had one in a box that I had to
assemble so I got it. really didn't want a display model. Ones at other places
that nice were 200 or so.
It's called a Bassett.. I couldn't find it on the website they have though, the
website kind of sucks. They have one similar though.. You can get these
pretty cheap on line with free shipping too. I was checking around to see if
I got a good deal or not after I got this home. I haven't seen one exactly
like this though. It's amazing how much difference a nice chair can make
though.. It's worth every penny.
it is called a "Overstuffed High back Leather executive chair" I guess that's
the style because lot's of brands have the same type of thing. This one has
a 2/5/15 and lifetime guarantee on the parts.. Different amount of time for
different parts.
My old one wore out too fast because the arms were not connected to the
back.. so every time you lean back- it wears out the points where the back
attaches to the seat. With arms that connect to both the seat and the
back, it is much more durable.
I found this place the other day on-line. I might have bought one there if I
couldn't find one locally.. or same place like it on line..

Like this one maybe..
http://www.bizchair.com/cp-a019a11-gg.html
or this
http://www.bizchair.com/ex1155-os.html
etc...
http://www.bizchair.com/le9407-euro.html
I like this one..
http://www.bizchair.com/8500-os.html
hey look this has the identical pedestal and mechanism as mine Same scuff guards and everything.
http://www.bizchair.com/dhl3062-os.html
This is the first one that has arms that are solid.. I kind of like those.. but damn that's vinyl and cost 262 bucks..
http://www.bizchair.com/b9001.html
300 bucks but I like it..
http://www.bizchair.com/5166-os.html
They got some nice 1000+ dollar chairs, and really expensive ones that look like car seats.. That would be cool..
The chair is an important part of your rig I have come to realize.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
LOL I found it.. on Ebay- they want 90 bucks shipping! it was very heavy... and a big box.. Still That's crazy.
Can get it at Big Lots for $109 or something like that.

I actually already have a similar chair, but it doesn't have the nice padding like yours. Hmm, going to pick up some chinese food here soon now that I'm sober enough to drive. My Odd Lots or Big Lots..whatever you want to call it is across the street. I think I might just stop in there, and have a look.

After looking at the prices for comparable chairs (leather, high
back "executive style", over stuffed, solid fully upholstered arms), I think I
should go back and get another one. You really have to sit in a chair first
to buy it though.. I sat in a few that looked nice but were uncomfortable to
me. I also had to raise my desk up about 2 more inches with blocks because
at it's lowest setting this one is at least 3 inches higher than my old one.

No SLi for me, my MoBo doesn't support it unless I mod the chipset. I really don't see a real need for it as the XFX 7900GT I have now plays everything I have just fine at the native res of the monitor I have..........
System Specs;
Mountain Mods U2-UFO, DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D, AMD X2 4200, OCZ EB PC3700 Platinum Dual Channel (2x1gig), XFX 7900GT, 2X WD SATA 80Gig, Lite-On DVD and DL DVDRW, XClio GreatPower 650, Samsung 205BW LCD
