updated picture once again Purchased a Zalman CNPS7700Cu and a Zalman NB HS today.
Thing is very loud I was under the impression that Speedfan could contol the speed of it however it won't. Damn Intel and their stupid 4 pin fan connectors.
kinda crappy picture.

you are using stock voltage for 3.75GHz? I couldn't do more than 3.64GHz @ stock. Currently doing 3.85GHz @ 1.55V. A single FSB higher and the thing would shut down during boot-up.

Yea its just set to auto I can actually do 3.98 without messing with the voltages any more then that and it seems to reboot during bootup. Id see what a higher FSB would do w/1.55v but my comps down until i get the x1800xl, Im currently on an AMD k6-2 350mhz (Oced to 500 i just cant stop)
I think Ive read of p4 630s hitting 4.4ghz I think i could do that on stock cooling if i wanted to mess with the voltages more but currently theres no reason to.

Heh worlds most expensive temp monitor, It already is an mp3 player so no need for winamp and i actually have a homebrew on it called PSPRadio which connects to winamps shoutcast radio server

i like that case, what is it?
i have an FX5500 sitting in bucket next to my desk. i used it for maybe 2 weeks then mobo craped out. bought a PCIExpress board instead of another AGP so it's sorta rotting away. I ought to build another rig so i can use it. i have 512(2X256) MB of 133MHz SDRAM and an old AMD K6(socket 462) processor. omg im gonna get on ebay and look for some new..err...old mobo's!!

The case is one of these:
http://www.xionusa.com/product-case.html
The one in the feature is called the Matrix over here in the UK.
I`m tryin to save up for a 6600GT. Things are a bit tight at the mo. The FX5500 is still a capable card if the game can be forced to use the DX8 shader models (like F.E.A.R) When I first played the demo it was a slideshow. Then I found out about the DX8 switch in the settings and it trebled the FPS. If only you could do the same in Oblivion

Well yeah I saw that too-I know the picture wasn't manipulated, but the case itself is weird.

it's a BTX form-factor case(instead of standard ATX) i do believe. i have yet to see many available so far. rumored to run cooler due to the proximity to fresh air(intake) and the processor.

Looks to me like hot air would get stuck at the top. I have and exhaust fan on top- also fans on the top in the back. Doesn't look like a very good design for air flow- removing heat from the case.

PSU stays way cooler therefor far quieter (if it has thermally controlled fans). CPU stays quite cool also. with a 750MHz OC (up from 3GHz) and a vcore raise of .075 it still stays under 63°C. Videocard airflow is pretty poor likely. Although with my fan @ full speed, it never reaches above 48°C. and that is with a 0.2V increase, and a 200MHz OC.
I will eventually cut a hole up top for another fan, but I currently don't have the guts to do so. Don't want to screw up a $250CAD case.
