Omega Drivers Overlcoking My Video Card?

is it?


if it is, i am goin to kill that bastard!!!

because after i put a brand new 6800 and installed omega drivers, the card died. it's at the factory right now!! but does it oc? the carD?

no..it doesn't

it simply changes some settings to sacrifice a little IQ for a good bit of speed.

omegas don't overclock your card. did you try reinstalling the official nvidia drivers again? That's the chance you take with any modded driver.

erm.... actually omegas's all for speed WITHOUT IQ sacrificeing.. (As far as i know)

And no, Omega's DO NOT OVERCLOCK the cards.... it pulls the information from the on board bios.... some cards are actually locked... (although i'm sure that's only ATI's )

it's not possible to pull speed out fo thin air...Omega does it without sacrificing any NOTICEABLE iq, yes...but to magically speed it up...well...first guy to do that wins big dollars.

Thin air yes... but he also turns on and fiddles with setting that ATI cannot due to WHQL certification specifics.....

I use the Omegas on my radeon so I dunno about Nvidia but if you use Radlinker manually you can OC
