k6-2 500 overclocking
Ok I've seen the cool speeds some have gotten with these and the cpu I have makes me feel like maybe i've got more headroom...
I've got it to 550 stable but i've seen other push these to 600 mhz and beyond Well i'd like to at lest try and see if it will take 600mhz but i can't insted it boots as 200mhz,  the multiplyer 2/6 is there something i'm missing?this is the main board made by NEC... http://support.packardbell.com/it/my...phonyclub#show Last edited by The_Neon_Cowboy; Oct 24, 2004 at 09:19 AM. |

NEC (spews) .... i'm serprised you got it to 550 without it complaining....
 I've found out that you can get more speed out of it by lowering the FSB and increasing the multiplier..... but that was the only way and the speed improvement was nearly zero... |
