Yeah. I overclocked my Antec from 430W to 480W - and it's running stable!

Although I'm no expert on PSU's, here's what I do know.

PSU's are rated for watts (like 430W for example)
You overclock better by upping the voltage not the wattage. Your PSU doesn't do much with the voltage.

So, if your system runs stable non-overclocked but unstable overclocked I'd say that getting a more powerful PSU isn't going to help - hence my sarcasm earlier.

However, I'm not even 90% sure on this.

I use a 430watt Trupower in my Antec 1080b Plus case, and I can tell you, line conditioning and gold plated connectors.....are really as good as everyone claims!

The margin of tolerance for each line is usually within +/- .1 of the expected voltage, the best I've ever seen in any power supply for any item.

Great PSU for anything, including overclocking.

Thanks man i was just wondering bout the +5volt line etc under load.
Enermax PSUs seem to suffer in the +5.

With as many as 10 case fans, 2 cd-rom drives, 2 hard-drives, and 4 expansion cards, I have always had a very stable 5v line. Hope that helps.
