Gardinen is on a distinguished road

Raised FSB by 10 Mhz.

Raised it from 200 to 210 since my Barton 2500+ i locked. And I managed to get from ~18000 points to 20183 in 3DMark01. That's quite nice.
I do wanna overclock some more. But I don't think that my mother board can handle FSB at 220. Not stable in SuperPI that is.

I raised the chipset voltage from 1.6 to 1.7 and got it to some longer but that it just wouldn't go any further.

Or am I right that it's the chipset voltage that's holding me back from 220FSB?

Would be quite nice to have my CPU run at 2400Mhz. But I even tried it with 1.95v on CPU voltage and it was no go.

It's definitely not the chipset voltage. It's either the ram needs cpc checking off or the vcore isn't high enough. Most likely the vcore. My locked Barton 2500+ needs 1.9V to be prime stable at 200 fsb. It needs over 2 volts to be stable at 205 fsb and would need a ridiculous amount of voltage to do 210 fsb stably.

1.95v is REALLY pushing the limits of the cpu.... it's extremely dangerous..... i wouldn't not go over 1.8 or 1.85v on a barton... high voltages can instantly kill a cpu without warning....

Good advice but I ran mine at 2 volts for 4 months perfectly fine with an SLK900 heatsink, those bartons can take some abuse.

Well I had it at around 1.9, and damn I was swetty. Athough I am planning on buying a new processor, I would wanna have my Barton atleast until christmas.

Well I have it at 1.7 now...running at 2.3Ghz, stable in Super PI.
