Whats a good way to cut copper?
I'm going to get a sheet of copper for makeing my own heatspeders / ran sinks ....


I have a drill, I have a dremel, i have a jig saw.....

Whats a good way to cut copper? I want to keep it neat and clean.... I just wish I ad aces to the schools jewelry metals cutter that thing would of did the job....

How should I do this guys? I'm just afraid it's gonna look like arse

not real think....

i can use copper or alum but i figured copper would be alot easyier to work with

how about some heavy duty scissors? or is it too thick/stong for that?

mabe with tin snips but thats gonna end up makesing a crooked aore a drty edgesd cut and it has to look good couse it's gonna be visable

Sourcer_2002 is on a distinguished road

i would say use the hacksaw with a sharp or new blade...it will take some work but it will make a cleaner cut. The dermel take a lot of discs probaly to cut out what you want.

Well I have the dremel as a back up but I picked up a copeing saw... I'll keep you guys posted this could turn into a nive little pice about makeing custom cooling

got a bansaw? those will cut you a really excellent "straight or costumizable" heatsink of any metal type... (watch the blade though... don't want them to get to hot)
