dead system need help!
my pc shuts down automatically, even bios u cannot enter.. in short no display at all. my mobo is epox 8rga+, 2200 tbred b @ 10x200, vcore 1.7 my bomo has a led that diagnose all hardware, it says CF. when i check my manual whats on CF all about, and says bios not inserted properly, or mainboard damage, or add on cards not inserted properly but i tried re inserting my cards. i even try my cards to other computers and its fine but i havent tri my processor COz im testing my cards in a p4. so, what would be the problem.. i already re install my processor but nithing happens. need help here pls...

When did this start happening ? was it running at that time?
did you do something in the Comp. and wouldnt start up any more?

this happened once to my system… may have to check the m/b bios, it maybe corrupt… if so, not good

Well a 2200+ @ 200fsb is tad much for a 266 proc.

i just push the cpu heatsink very slow then after 10mins it turn off. i have running my cpu @ 10x200 for almost 6months i guess no prob.. now my mobo is dead. im planning to buy epox 8rda3g. is that a good moBo?

So you had the PC running and you moved the heatsink and then the pc shut off?

Could have damaged it there remove the CPU cooler to see if there is a small piece missing from the core, happend to me once very tiny corner broke off, needed another CPU

Yea i did that with a water block...if you are lucky you might have tripped the system try taking the power play out of the PC....wait and then put it back in and try to power it up.

i did everything but still it wont boot. i realized my mobo is dead. but tnx guys. i orderde new mobo, its 8rda3g. hope its good and overcocking friendly.. tnx guys.
