hahah, my mate had a go at overclocking it, got it up to 3200 and appeared stable to the naked eye, he whacked it up again to a 3400+ and it didn't boot. whacked 1.8v onto the cpu core and booted fine. ran 3dmark 2 tests later pc shut down, PSU had blown. WAAAAAAAAAP result nothing else fried though so its all good. 300W Supply + OC = disaster

Unlocked. 0316 is the date code. 03 for the year 2003, 16 for the 16th week of the year. Unlocked processors didn't start showing up until week 39.

300W PSU? no wonder it blew up, you need at least 350/400W
