Try sitching the slots around... I am guessing you are running in a Dual DDR configuration. If so, are the generic sticks the same brand? Are they the same size? 4 stick's or 2? Try bumping up voltage a tad more... Can you adjust the Spread Spectrum? Try adjusting it's settings... Timings correct? Not enough info posted to give you an accurate fix action!

YIKES!!! With 2,433,227 errors in 12 hours, I'd venture to say the RAM is bad.
Yeah, yeah, I know....."Master of The Obvious" pic time...

i kno at least one of the RAM chips isn;t brand new…
the guy at the store installed it on my old board when i said 256 wasn't enough… but then he later replaced it when the old board burnt out with 2X256 and when i upgraded to 1Gb of ram he had to order another 512 chip

before you start increasing voltages
it could well be your timings are too tight for the ram, try CAS 2.5/3 if its CAS2 or lowering your refresh/recharge settings.

just use memtest (if you arent already), burn an image via nero and boot from it, you dont need anything else.

yeh memtest86+ v1.11
BUT
now after i have tested each chip in slot one… found no errors i thought it was due to slot 3 being dodgy BUT when i put the second chip back in… no boot and error beeps from the computer, took them both out and tried them both seperately in slot 1 no error but now they do not want to play nice…
really annoying me as when my audio programs are running im using up 700mb of ram…

It's that they're not matched pair's. If two sticks of RAM are NOT EXACTLY the same, they will not run in Dual DDR.

Not true for the nForce Chipset, that is pretty much only for the Intel chipsets.
on trhe nForce chipsets you can run different sizes, speeds and makes.
dj_stick, have you tried them in single channel mode (when both stickes are in)?

Yup- I ran 256mb stick crucial pc2100 + 1 stick 512mb PNY pc2700 in dual mode for months no problems on an Abit NF7.. Of course matched OCZ sticks work much better.....
