System Specs

OverVolted RAM

I think my m/b is overvolting my RAM, it reads it as 2.704 constant, ie does not fluctuate… with is .2V over the specification of 2.5… It may not seem serious but at 2.75v (+10%) i think is the limit for the RAM chips…
Is this really a cause for concern

2.7 is fine especially handy if you're OC'ing.

If it works why worry about it? I would try a memory tester to see if there is any issues.

majority of all the ram i've used.. even though default is 2.5.... i read usually 2.6-2.8 volts..... it's when it get below 2.5 volts that i think you should worry....

True..also some manufactures even recommend you bump the ram .1-.2 beyond spec. OCZ being a good example.
