good on ya man...id have a bash at beating ure scores...but my 9800xt aint up to yours m8...get my point?

others on here who might wanna have a go at knocking u off ure perch.....will just take a look at your specs, and then just say sack it....no point in even entering..as the scores with their systems are just unobtainable.(therefore...elitist)

not really encouraging a community spirit really...IMHO.

mebbe a set of rules where the avatar classes have restrictions on them...ie....a certain cpu max for a certain class, or say....a certain graphics card max on another??

just an idea.

then those on here with a GFMX440 might have a bash....

Gizmo; Sorry it wasnt directed at you. I see your point, but this is a fastest rig comp. That means exactly what it says, who has put together the right combination of components and tweaked them in order to obtain the "fastest rig"

Logla; Maybe you could do a highest card score comp? Divided into GPU classes. I have seen it on other sites and it seems to work.

You wouldnt know O/C when you see one, If you did, you wouldn't buy fx-53, your x800xt is poorly o/c-ed or is poor sample for o/c, 235 fsb is pronounced "children's FSB" long time ago, RBX watter blocks do not improve WB performance at all, and saving on memory on such rig as yours i crime, also MSI NEO mobo...come on man, get serious =) No one is gonna cry except for you when someone experienced with chosen sample of clawhammer in prometea and 6800ultra enters comepetition with 3ghz.

let me give you a pointer: X-treme labs made 27000 marks in 3dmark 2001 with fx5900xt

and barton @2.6ghz, FSB 260. That is OC !

I thought all you serbs were taken care of already? Oh well, I am sorry you feel that way. Thank you for your suggestions. I personally think I did a pretty decent job with my rig. A 660/600 OC on the card is pretty good, and the mem is from my M-2600 rig. Sorry you disapprove.

You even lost me there bud. First I'll say that his gfx card OC is nothing short of amazing. The fact he's risking a $600 card like that shows me that he is an extreme tweaker/OCer. You sit crapping on his parts? I mean come one man they guy is scoring over 15 and 30k on the 3dmarks...jeesh. This competition is for the top rigs on DH, nothing else. If you cannot afford to keep up you sit it out. Its the same with cars, boats and anything really.
Just my opinion on the subject.

sure, I was just nagging because that guy told me to stop crying etc. so I just messed with him a bit. Still, there is nothing amazing about his x800pe clock on that machine that card scores a bit less than 14k by default. If I managed to sqeeze 1500marks more out of fx5900xt he could do more :d I do admit that I went a bit too far.

What amazes me is tha sik l cell unfolded some nacionalisam and I thought that is forbiden on this board ? I mean SIK L CELL, that was really low. Maybe if "someone" wasnt taking care of "us" I would have the money to buy fx 53 ?!

Okay, some new benches from me but I do not wish to enter the competition, more just to show off

My new psu has really helped with my cpu OCing and I now have a rock solid 2.81GHz(fastest cpu I've ever used tbh). OCing was done only by multi(200x14) and the gfx OCing with powerstrip.

Me too bud. I dropped the gfx clock a bit to test and see if it was too high but the score drops with it so I dont think its that. Not sure why but I ain't complaining with 13.7k either

Awesome OC. I cant break 2.6. So what are the mem timings? I need a new psu also I am torn between the OCZ 520 and the Ultra.

Thanks bud. These GB sticks are not the greatest so the timings kinda suck at 10-3-3-3. But if you're in the market for a new psu definitely go for the OCZ. I wanted that myself but could not wait for it.

as it stands, it looks to me as if you have a winning entry there in the AMD Pro Stock category.

Could get you a nice avatar but it would be nice to have an entry in that class so that other people can try to beat you (all in the name of competition of course)

I would bud but I'd have to go for the Super Modified title since I'm running a vapo and there's no way I can beat SIK_L_CELL's scores there. My X800 just doesn't have any more left in to do anything else.

Just for running 2.8 I would step down for you. Damn thats a great OC. What bios and voltage are you using on that chip?

No way man, you've earned that spot and title. Plus I only really posted scores for comparison; I had my time with the avatar

Also thanks the offer in helping me get more out of my gfx card but I dont want to get into any modding right now. The silencer was probably as far as I would go since Sapphire's RMA is probably the worst in the industry. As for the cpu; I'm running it at 1.75v with the latest 1.2 bios. I'm only OCing with the multi and I had to bump the vapo to hold -20c instead of the default -15c.

Dipstick, I just ran 3DMark 03 at stock cpu 2.4(200x12) and 560/600 on the card and got 13500. Maybe you should look at some other areas? At 2.8 it should br better.
