What fan specifically are you using on the heatsink?

Sounds like you could use some better cooling. Maybe lap your HS as well, which helps a lot. Check out Roadee's guide.

Im using this FAN , about the temps, im "ABIT" suspicious about them, cuz there are reported problems with Abit mobos about temp readings so...
Edit: I used to get with the Intel Stock HSF higher temps, about Indle 48C Full load 58/60C, so the temps im getting now arent that "bad" compared with the temps i had.

One thing you could do is check if the bottom of the heatsink is making proper contact with the surface of the CPU.

Im gonna try and update my bios to see if there is any changes in temp readings, also im gonna use motherboard monitor 5 to check the temps, ive heard its more acurate then Aida32/Sandra or bios readings...this is really anoying me alot...
Edit: I already checked if the cooler was making good contact with the cpu, and its making, how do you apply your thermal paste, in my case, AS5? I applied mine the way its recomended in the AS site. Any thoughts?

Hey, I'd say those temps are about right, if you room really is 32ºC I think you should get better cooling for your room, mate! (32ºC = 90ºF for the rest of you)

Actually.....he was on topic......the room temp and how it is measured is very important, and directly reflects the temperature performance of your computer. In this case I think that you are confusing the case temp for the room temp? And if that is the case......your internal case temp is WAY too high and you need to try to increase the airflow in your case.
Here is an experiment for you.....start up your computer normally. Let is just sit there for about 10 minutes and write down the temp readings. Next.....run a few benchmarks and get your computer up to LOAD temp, write them down........next..........take the side panel off or your case and let it sit there for a good 15 minutes....write down the temps.....then do the same benchmarks again and take note of those temps.
If your computer has lower temps at idle and at load with the side panel off.....let's just say at least 3c.....then you need more case cooling, and should make sure that all of your wiring is tucked away neatly for good airflow.

Mobo temp looks about like mine 36C, Room at 21C, CPU 29-31 Idle nears 40 at load.

50C at full load is actually fine and definitely not worth spending time or money lowering.
When comparing temperatures to other users, it gets difficult to make a good comparison unless the other party has the same type or at least same manufacturer of the motherboard. Especially some Asus boards has been known to give off fairytale values, whilst Abit are usually more likely to tell the truth. A week or so ago there was a news article that went into that as well, specifically related to the Intel P4 internal temperature probe.

Thats way too hot for your setup!
Make sure you have MORE intake fans than EXHAUST fans, otherwise you'll be sucking in nothing but dust.
Your motherboard is at 38C ? Holy crap dude my CPU @ 3.3GHz doesnt reach 37C under FULL LOAD!!!!
I'm running a 2.4C@3.3GHz, P4C800-E Deluxe, Thermalright SP-94 (equavilant to your cooler), Ceramique, and a 92mm silent fan, I idle at around 25-28C, full load 32-37C, I have 3 intakes and two exhausts (the perfect setup).
You seriously have to do something about those temps lol.

the temps are fine, abit are well known to read high, you could safely deduct 5c from the reported figures. boards like the IC7 Max 3 read somewhere in the region of 5-10c over the "correct" figures.
as long as you are sure the heatsink and paste are on nice and snug, your case has adequate cooling and your machine is stable I wouldnt be overduly worrying, you could always invest in watercooling
ive read my temps with a diode they are 8c under what the bios reports in my abit IC7 Max3, I just use motherboard monitor 5, then get it to "deduct" the difference.

Thanks for all your help guys, i really apreciate it!!! I tried reaplying the AS5 today and secured the cooler, also i put up an extra fan on the side cover, i have now two intake fans and 2 exhaust. I did some testing like Roadee recomended and the problem with the temps is due to my case, its a midi tower, unlike most of the cases everyone has here, and the thing really heats up a bit.
With the cover off, i ran Sandra stress bench 3 times and got 36c indle 42 Full load, but with the case cover on i got 38c indle 48 full load, so from what if seen the extra fan did help a little. The only thing i can see that will bring temps down is to buy a bether bigger case and a more powerfull fan for the cpu. Thanks again for all the help guys.

Z only thing I have with temp on intel I remember this
Intel Cpu's Proved To Run Hotter Than Amd's !!!
were its been proven (there an intel std) to display the cpu temps up to 20% cooler then they really are...
