Chipset Cooler
I have a DFI LANParty 875Pro mainboard. The northbridge cooler is a passive cooler with no fan. I am about to embarke on building a water cooled solution for my PC but don't know how to add a water block to this northbridge. It uses two little metal arches on the board and a metal spring clip which runs accross the cooler and then clips into these little arches. tha board uses no plastic pins so it looks like I cant water cool the northbridge.
Does anyone know of any water blocks or adapters which I could use?

I've seen these, but the board I have only has 2 loops to connect to, on diagonally oposing corners.

That ones not an option. I'll be going for a water cooled chipset block. I notice that HSF is a bolt on. My board has hoops which are physically attached to the board as it has an 875 Canterwood chipset, so there is no way of attaching a bolt on cooler.
I know some people have attached their water coolers using cable ties but I dont have all four hoops like they do so it would make the block unstable on the board. I may be able to get away with that by using a partial epoxy mix but I'm not too keen on using any epoxy.

The MCS 159-R comes in two varieties--bolt-on only and the universal kind. The universal kind supports the type you would need. Although I posted the picture above, mine also uses the latches version.

I don't disagree but Its no good for me. I need to have a water cooled solution - I'm taking this route because fans are just too noisy. I would imagine this has a 40mm fan @ high RPMs. Please let me know otherwise and that its virtually silent.

I have a watercooled rig too that, so far, cools only the CPU. The hard drives are cooled by a 120mm silent fan and I have 3 case fans with speed adjusters. Amid the noise caused by the case fans, I can't hear the sounds caused by the MCX 159-R. So, in that case, it is a "silent" solution for me.

In that case, then it may well be an option.
Thanks for your info - much appreciated.
