Maybe - that's a good score.
Although - I was able to reach 5629 on a 9700np with stock cooling!!!
I seem to be unable to surpass 5899 - best I got was 5889

Looking at your specs it looks like your cpu still has some room to overclock and if you up the core speed on your card i'm sure your going to break 6k

The 5889 score was with an extra 40 MHz on the core and 60MHz on the mem

If your not seeing any artifacts than you still have room to overclock, the best test to see if your pushing you card too much is the 3rd test Troll if you start seeing white dots than your pushing it too much if your dont than you still have more room, I saw that you have NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 Ultra the default speed on that one are 450mhz core and 425mhz mem but on your results I saw that your core is only 301mhz and your mem is 924mhz check that out

Yeah - the fx 5900u has the two speeds - 300mhz core in 2D mode and then speeds the core and fan up for 3d mode - it is normally at 450MHz - so no worries there.
I believe I have managed to find the sweet-spot, combined with the 52.16 driver set. 545MHz core and 932memory kicks out a wonderous score of 6610. My aim was to break 6k - and I thrashed it - this was with a virus scanner running in the background too! I forgot to disable it!!! I'm gonna go see what it will do without the virus scanner.

Congatulations!!! But I sorry to do this to you but the reason that you totally blew away the 6k mark is beacause even Nvida admitted this thats why Futuremark does not offically accept scores based on that version of the driver is beacuse some of the scenes which are supposed to be done in dx9 are actually done in dx8 which is why you get such dramatic increase, Nvidia decided it was an acceptable tradeoff beacsue of the limitations of the hardware in order to provide the best game experiance for the users and in the scenes that the drivers does that in you cant really see the diffrence between dx8 and dx9
I know I know you hate my guts at the moment but the version of the drivers that you were previously using are the last drivers that futuremark offically accepts because they render the image that futuremark intended it look like

Ah right - bugger - well... at least it doesn't look any different!
I was under the impression that the cheating drivers were the 45.03s I thought they were gone in the latest drivers - lol

The last patch to 3dmark03 rendered the cheats useless in that version so it was forced to render the image correctly, but yea your right we benchmark for the fun of it if all your games play fine than thats all you need to be happy
