EDIT: BTW I checked every single mod I have done to see if it has an effect on temps, and I only keep the ones that drop the temps. I always do my own testing becasue statistics are not always right.
Holy crap that's hot for an NF7 sensor- Mine (with all sides on and -NOT SO COLD- cold cathode in the case) is at around 39c and about 41 to 42.5 when loaded. Palamino @ 1.8v- OC'd about 200mhz. By the way- my NF7 reads about 10degrees C colder than my Gigabyte did- and that thing was dead on- the sensor came right up and actually touched the back of the CPU and was much more sensitive than the ABIT system. It would react instantly to CPU load as well as when the load comes off. The NF7 sensor doesn't even touch the back of the CPU, it just measures the temp of the air close to the CPU-

I actually get cooler temps when I put the case sides on- my fans create a negative pressure which sucks air in the vent holes in the right side of the case so it has the effect of cooling the back of the motherboard too.

jaysavesthedayy is on a distinguished road

your case is cool. ya gotta do what you gotta do to keep your cpu cool. Im really thinking of drilling some 8cm and 12cm holes on my case, on the top and on the main side panel. and.. just leave the dust there. it makes it look like it has much more power.

I pushed my sensor up, and I used ceramique on it.

Oh you mean you pushed the actual sensor up to touch the back of the chip>? And then put Ceramique right on the sensor? I thought about doing that, but I didn't want the sensor to scrape against the CPU- I couldn't tell how far up it needed to go- plus the metal pins it sits on are very rigid, and could do damage to the back of the CPU (at least my Palamino, which has little chips that come off the back and stick out quite a bit) - I think the next time I take my HSF off I might try to adjust the sensor a little, but I'm not touching it right now- I got my 1533mgz Palamino OC'd to 1730mhz @ 1.825 volts - and running 37C --> 42C. Not bad for that old CPU- it takes a while for the ceramique to set up enough for me to OC that far.
