Help me with overclocking!

11752 for 3dmark2001se: *messed up the url*
All I have setup is my asus a7n8x deluxe on bios 1004 with it set to aggressive.
My graphics card geforce4 ti4400 overclocked to 283/598.
My psu is 550w.

My cpu was reading a temp of 21/51'c. By that I mean for 2 seconds it would show 21ish and then another 2 seconds 51ish and back down again...
My case is a Thermaltek Xaszer III using all 7 fans at max.

Loads of info on what to do and how to do it would be a welcome! Any more info you need and just say.

I'm pretty sure u should be getting higher scores than that, specially with a g4. Check out my sig i hit 14k using the omega drivers, and 13,812 without them. See if u can oc your card some more. U could probably squeeze out an extra 100mhz from the 2600 but u gotta be careful with the voltages.

^^^^ but your fsb is at 200 and 2.3ghz, and using radeon 9500 Pro and dual channel mode, his score is decent for this card, maybe around 12000 is good enough...

I put a bit of bite in to my cpu the other day. knocked it from 2.08 to 2.23gig. Overclocking me graphics card got me to 12k in 2001se.
Is it alright to still be running at 333fsb or should I be going down to 200 to overclock? All I did was knock up my fsb to 356.

200 = 400fsb (because of ddr [double data ram]) so 356 would be around 178 and going to 200 would be 400 and that does help but make sure your computer can handle it.

His card is a TI4400, you cant compare a TI4400 to a 9500pro, a 9500pro would destroy a TI line of nvidia cards.

And his CPU is at 2.3GHz, and at that a Barton + his 9500pro is overclocked.

In my second system my CPU is a XP2100 tbred-b temporarily at 1.8GHz with a MSI GeForce4 TI4200 at stock speeds I score around 10k.

So I'd think that card would score a bit more than what your getting, look into it.
