Newbie P4 2.4c overclocking

Can All P4 2.4c's be overclocked on most suitable motherboards?
What can I expect to get using the retail heatsink and fan package?
Do you just have to change the multiplier.

Thanks

No multiplier to play with on intel cpu's.

You need to raise the FSB to overclock. Give us some details about your motherboard and memory.

I have not bought one yet, thinking of Abit or Asus board

My current mem is corsair pc3200 (two 256's)

I currently have abit nf7s (version 1) with amd 2600+ (166fsb version, which can't be overclocked using fsb speed)

So I can only overclock a P4 2.4c by incraseing the fsb, so I am restricted by the 200fsb memory I have??

thanks for input

Not really because you can run your memory asyncronously from the fsb, meaning you can have the fsb at 250MHz giving you 3GHz on the processor and keep the memory on spec at 200MHz
