Barton 2500 O/C and volt help at least for me.

I just got my 2500 a month ago. Have been playing around with the setings. I have been having very good O/Cing with it. I've been as high as 11.5 @ 222 with 1.75 volts. But cant go any higher, Till now. I have found at least on mine it dosen't like high volts like other cpus. My 2200 needed at least 1.8 just to overclock it. So i thought they would all need to be put at atleast this high. Boy was i wrong. I just lowered it to the stock volts of 1.65 and now i can get 12 @ 222. It wont go 12.5 but thats not bad considering all i could get with 1.75 to 1.8 was 11.5 @ 222 as 1.8 is all my board will go, and 222 FSB is all my memory will go"Cosair 3200 512" So if i get some faster memory it might go to an even higher FSB.

So i dont know but it sounds like these Bartons like the stock volts the best.

Let me know if u guys have found the same thing with your Bartons.

Well anyways i cant complain, im getting 2.66 ghz out of a 1.8 cpu on air, well alot of air considering i have 8 Tornado fans. . And the best Part about it was i only paid 90 bucks

And the other thing i was wondering who makes the best water setup????

Im sure it would go even higher on water, and not sound like an AIRPLANE!!!!!!!!!

One other thing i found is that the temps climb @ stock volts to, wonder why. 101 idol 106 load @ 11.5/222
Verses 96 and 102 @ 1.75 volts. And 108/ 113 @ 12/222 at stock volts. Weird to say the least.
