Hello Clockers,
Newbie here. Quick question about reaching FSB speeds on NF7-S. I'm currently sitting at 200 FSB x 13 Multiplier stable Prime95 for 18 hours not fallen over. I understand that you need more power when overclocking your chip, no prob using Globalwin 520. My current V-core is 1.8 at current settings. I know you need your board V-modded to exceed FSB 220 but i'm struggling to get above 200 even at Multiplier 10 My v-core is 1.8v mem 2.8v and everything else default board power. Over heating is not a problem. Is the V-core reading on the NF7-S accurate if so what should i up it to try and reach any where near 220 ????????????
Hi Craig588,
No my chipset voltage is default 1.6 and AGP 1.5 Should I up my AGP as well ? and what sort of V-core settings you set at as I'm Not that bothered about V-modding yet. My ram will be fine Corsair XMS3700.
You NEED the chipset voltage on 1.7V for the NF7-S. It will have a hard time doing even 200MHz at the stock 1.5. You can keep the AGP voltage the same.
