ati radeon 9600 np overclocking

i overclocked my radeon 9600 np to 385/245 and i checked with artifact tester and there were no artifacts is it ok with the original cooling of gigacube?
its almost the pro speeds shuld i overclock some more ?

The .13u of the 9600 can allow you to go all the way up to 500mhz+ on the core. The mem as far as I know can go just beyond 300, you're pretty safe to go till you see artifacts and then go back down about 10mhz.

System Specs

it can sometimes come down to system aswell,some cards o/c better than others.

my pro is stock 400/300 but o/c to 450/300 i don't like pushing it to far.

i got a wierd problem whey i overclock alil high the computer crashes in 3d applications(games and 3dmark 2003)
and there r no artifacts

I don't know the details, but perhaps you should search around for flashing a 9600np to 9600PRO. So you can run it at a faster speed easier.

ibm 13.7 gb

i've been trying to find things on flashing the 9600 NP (built by ati)... to a pro.... i just can't find ANYTHING....

If you dont want to buy a new cooler for it I would at least recomend you put some ceramique in place of the stuff ATI uses.
