Hmm, I know the 5200 really isn't that bad of a card for gaming but for the ATI would have to say go for the 9100. However, have you thought getting a 4200?

Get a 4200 man, best bang for your buck. I had one before my current card and it was really fast - I ran it at 315/600 for a year.

The BIG question now is:
"How important is DX9 hardware"
At the moment, the Market covers 3 generations of DirectX
From DX7 (primarily Geforce 4 MX models)
Through DX8 (Geforce 4 / Radeon 8500/9000/9100/9200)
To DX9 (Geforce FX / Radeon 9500 up)
Geforce FX 5200 is placed as the cheapest DX9 - but it may be too slow for the heavily software assisted features to be useful.
With time, DX8 cards will end up where DX7 are now, and Dx9 cards will be cheaper, or more powerful at the same pricepoint.
The time to buy, is not now!

yeah, the ti4200 msi is very good for the price. I think even the 64mb ones are better, since the ram is much faster compared to the 128 models.
