Crucial makes nice old ram!
I had my OCZ pc150 ram for the longest time and I thought it wouldn't get any better, but just last night I got some Crucial pc133 cas2 ram. I tried throwing it in just to see what its limit is and it can get higher than my OCZ ram! It reached 148MHz with the most aggressive timings while the OCZ could only reach 146MHz! Now I think its my mobo thats holding me back because my system won't even boot if I bring the FSB past 148. My goal was to hit 300MHz DDR with this board, but I guess it won't happen.

I had some nice Crucial before, too. It was pc100 though. When I got my AMD board, I popped those babies in there, and they ran at 133MHz quite happily, at the fastest timings

You are not going to be able to hit DDR speeds with SDR memory.... but I gather what you mean... what northbridge does you motherboard use?
And like many people here... I have not used SDR in so long I have bearly forgotton what it looks like. Had a 1GHz Duron on a DFI AK76-SN motherboard, with two 128MB sticks of PC1600 PC1600 omg... I AM OLD!

I was hoping to get a FSB to 300, I know that SDR ram can't run in DDR. This mobo only supports SDR ram. Its a KT133A chipset.

Well, I won't be that happy with 20~30% bench performance increase only to upgrade my mobo+ram.
I'm still really happy with my shitty pc133, which can run @ 133~145 (max stuff this could handle).
Wish the kt1000 chipset were already in the market in these days
