Is my 2800+ a Barton?
Ok "Is my 2800+ a Barton?" how do i kno and how do i find out???

Right click on My Computer > Properties > it'll say it right there somewhere, either XP2800+ or it's MHz.

To my knowledge AMD only make 2800+'s with the Barton core.

My first guess is yes, since the Thoroughbred 2800's were pretty much not available. But if you want to be sure, you can check the amount of L2 cache showed in wcpuid, and if it is 512KB, then it is a Barton.

I swear I had a link that told you what XXXX+ you were... based on the multipliers and such... and you could specify what it is: either a thunderbird, barton, palomino, or a thoroughbred... if i can still remember it.
