CPUCool
ello!
just curious about this software called CPUCool, current version something around 7.2.4 I think. anyways, has anyone tried/tested it? are there any risks in using it? I mean I've been using it for a few days now and it seems to work fine, in normal work-usage in windows, my athlon xp temperature drops from about 55 degrees C to about 45 degrees C . quite good I think as windows runs allright while the cooling is on. yupyup, enough writing now  thanks! - mav |

You on 98/ME by any chance? Any way, don't forget to disable it when you benchmark. I used CPU Idle, it DID lower my CPU's temp, but also has a traumatic effect on 3DMark and such, plus the image gets choppier than usual in graphics intensive stuff.
