AS3 or Ceramique? Overclockers speak up!

Alright guys....seems like Arctic Silver has released a new thermal compound....AS Ceramique.

What are you opinions on both AS3 and Ceramique?

Which one do you think is better?

Has anyone here tried both compounds to see which on performs better?

I know many sites are claiming that Ceramique will be about 1C-2C lower than AS3, but has anyone here experienced that?

The cooling differences are so small that they are negligable. I'd just go with Ceramnique because it is non conductive.

I would go with AS3 because I already have 1.5 tubes of it, but if I was to buy new stuff I would get the ceramique.

I swear every time I hear of the new paste I keep thinking of something from Bath & Body Works. To me it sounds like some kind of fancy facial enhancer/cleanser.

Here is a pretty comprehensive test using a bunch of different brands of paste.
This review was done by DogMan, and according to him it took a long time to do.
He even tested these at subzero temps, and the results change quite a bit from stock....... this is a very good review.

Here is a thread about this at Xtreme if anyone is interested.......

digitalwanderer is an unknown quantity at this point

NanoTherm TMP, or whatever it is. I've been in love with a tube of their Blue II that I picked up and I just read some stellar reviews about their TMP stuff. (or whatever 3 letter abbreviation it was, something like that.)

I did the switch from AS3 to Ceramique'. Think about it, about the same cooling potential as AS3 but without the chance of shorting something out?? Seems pretty cut and dry to me So yes I have used both.....and I cant tell a difference in temps between the two......the Ceramique is easier to put on, takes less paste, and is thicker and less prone to breaking down at either high or low temps.

Until there is something that is going to lower my temps a good 5 C........I dont see a need to use anything else.....I love this stuff.....and think of it.....no silver mess everywhere if you touch the crap by accident
