ATI Radeon x2300 solution to the reporting only 64 Mb video memory problem

i bought an ASUS F5V a couple of weeks ago, and all the info software i ran reported 64 of vram. i tried many video drivers from many web pages but the video card still had 64 of vram. but the solution came from ASUS web page.
All i had to do is flash my BIOS with a newer version. So if anyone else has this problem just go to ASUS page and download the latest BIOS (ver. 215 is what i got) and just flash it with the program that you got with the laptop.
Now i got 128 of vram and it sure feels different. In 3dmark03 i had 1961 points when the video card had 64 Mb memory, now i get 3142. Thats almost double the performance (70-80% really).

And for those who want to overclock your Radeon x2300 card, i used AMDGPUClockTool (don't remember where i got it).
And for comparison, when i had 64 Mb of memory i scored 3029 from 1961 when it was normal.
I just made a 27% overclok. The initial frequencies were 479/396 and i raised them to 627/513.
This is the maximum freq. where the card works normal, beyond this you will get errors or system hangs.
And as you can see i got a score that is almost as the score i get with 128 vram.

now i just hope i didn't blow up my warranty by flashing the BIOS.
