Quick Soyo Mobo Question!..

I've got a Soyo P4-S Ultra mobo witha p4 2.4.

In my BIOS, there is an option that said something with "performance" , in which the choices are - Normal (default), Fast, or Turbo. What the hell is this? Is it like those days when I could "turbo" my 8MHz beast to a full fledged 16MHz machine?

Some mobos have that turbo option. On my old Giga-Byte 7VAX it just gave the processor a 4mhz overclock.... Kinda pointless.

Well, I tested it out, and set it to "Fast", consequently, my (OCed) computer crashed. I soon learned that it set my memory timings to aggressive numbers, probably too much for my Kingston HyperX pc3000 I guess.
