Hey i am thinking about getting a P4 2.4ghz/400mhz and i was wondering if any of you have had any luck overclocking them
if so how much of a OC do you get
I have the 2.4GHZ 533MHZ version, not 400MHZ. It was an OEM purchase and I got mine stable at 2.81GHZ. FSB is at 156, CPU voltage at 1.600, and DDR voltage at 2.6V (Kingston DDR333 512MB).
Also, I got 3 system fans, one PCI fan, and a Zalman 2.8+GHZ CPU fan. Good luck.
well, i have a p4 2.4ghz and i was able to get it up to 3.06 GHz with an FSB of 170, and no porblems what so ever
im using the stock heatsink
i have an Asus P4B533 Mobo
