8500 to 9100 to 9200? =)
Since the 9200 will be just a rebadge of the 9100..
and since we can flash our 8500s to be a 9100..
i'm guessing someone will try to do an 8500 to 9200..
would it work?
what do you guys think?

The 9000/9100/9200 are based off the same core as the
8500, the R200..
I've read that the 9200 is just a rebadged 9100.. and the
9100 is just a rebadged 8500.. so why not?

No, 9200 is RV280, aka 9000 with AGP 8x

That's what I've heard..
I agree with Ville85's post. I think that's how it goes.

Agreed.
But maybe you could flash a 9000 to a 9200.

I seriously doubt - RV280 is not the same chip as RV250.

Since ATI don't list drivers for the 9200 on their web site, someone care to fill me in on what drivers I should use with this card?

The Catalyst drivers are unified drivers - you can use them on any ATI card.
