SIS730 & SP2 & LCD problems

I just updated this dinosaur of a comp (amd1.15ghz, 384mbSDRAM, SIS730 chipset) from windows XP SP1 to SP2. Now this comp had a Daytek CS150 LCD monitor that worked on it. After the install of SP2 the LCD doesn't work, only works in safe mode. The update was done with a CRT attached to it but when I took the comp back after update and attched the TFT LCD, the LCD would not display in normal mode. I tried to dl the driver from daYTEK, but the install said it was not a program to run in windows or ms-dos prompt. please help me get this LCD to work.
