this the only dx9.0 512mb card that i've seen don't think it's for game tho...
and judginf from the size i think it's safe to say that u need a custom build computer just to fit that in the case

hmm. thats strange, i linked to that 3dlabs card..... i'm sure since i didn't even copy that 128mb link until after i posted this... and i no it sux with games....

well 512 mb cards were promised the end of last year but it's all been put off due to memory avilabilty / cost .. mfg issues etc with the latest cards
note sure when they will start showing up but be ready to shell out $600 if not more for a video card....then again they could avoid uaseing more then 256 by useing soultions like nvidia's or ati's turbo chace designs
we wont know intill they tell us

judging from how FireGL cards do for games, I'm pretty damn sure it won't work for crap.
And yes, drivers are the main issue, as a fireGL is a radeon core
