Ok, im a very big newbie at this kinda stuff i just got on here to ask if a ,VIA/S3G KM400, would work on Doom3, everything else is over or at recomened i think, but i dont want to like get this and it eat my comp away slowly,my system specs.

AMD Athnlon XP 2700+
2.16GHz
512 MB of RAM

plz tell me if Doom3 will work on comp! hopefuly in the near furture i be upgradeing it soon, like adding 256 or 512 RAM.

your problem is the S3G. it wont even run Halo. Its really really bad for graphics. You're gunna need a real graphics card at some point.

so the short answer is no.

though I admit it is POSSIBLE it would run...it would be lowest graphics at under 10fps. like a slideshow.
