Too late.....they have been pulled!

I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow to see them.....but it doesn't look that great so far. Then again, this is just early driver stages for Matrox.

It's back.

My German is beyond rusty, but the pictures tell the story. GF4600 is still the card for games.

Anyway, thats not stopping me getting one!

The card is expensive as hell, and it´s performance is on par with the R8500.
Except for FSAA, but than again almost every card rapes the R8500´s FSAA..

well lets see....why not read what john carmack says (http://www.bluesnews.com/plans/1/) and anandtech's review on it (http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1645&p=1).....its so odd how this card was guna rock and outperform the ti4600 in "simple" graphics but in very complex aps nothing wuld touch it (and yes..i WAS going to purchase one and loose my 8500), but it seems to fall short of 8500LE (yes the LE version) in anisio quality and performance, in regular quality all around....imho matrix screwed up

Or maybe Matrox PR screwed up. I can conceivably see the techies going ballistic at the earlier press releases. But then, we didn't hear of owt warnings on the 'net.

Will still get one, even if just to replace the G400MAX's in the house. Esp if has inbuilt DVD hardware
