I just Acquired a brand new Toshiba Satelite A135 S4517 notebook and I must admit it runs great real quick but what in the hell is up with the graphics I've never seen such garbage since the Turbo Graphics system was around but then again I haven't been using Intel either this thing can't even play the first Halo game I mean come on someone should really tell Intel to give up on the GPU'S nobody wants the crap why do they bother thats all I am trying to figure out.
945GM (GMA950) - Vista WDDM driver, DX9 but no hardware T&L support.
The 965 (GMA x3100) is (very slowly) getting full hardware DX9 driver support, with the XP driver now out and Vista to follow - making it possibly the only Intel graphics that might not suck - though it will be competing with the very lowest in actual cards.
Nvidia and ATI both have far more functional onboards.
