Problems with s3 twister k graphics card

Good day to all!Im at the end of my teather with my computer at the moment! Im trying to run a CAD package on it and very often my whole system crashes (blue screen and everything).Ive narrowed it down to a file 'S3gnb.dll' and i gather it is to do with my s3 twister K driver.I have tries the updates from http://ranger.s3graphics.com/swlib/380drv/and found that the system did not crash (i didnt test it for long) but the CAD package acts 'funny' with this new update (things jump and flicker on the screen) which makes it impossible to use.Can anyone help me and shed some light on this? I have one solution - throw my computer away and buy a new one - but that is not practical at present!

just to add, ive had to roll back to the factory setting driver (the one that keeps making the machine crash)
