3dfx 1.09 Beta4 Drivers For All OS's!

Here they are new 3dfx drivers. The great peeps @ 3dfx Underground have released their new 3dfx 1.09 Beta4 drivers for Windows 9x/Me/2000/XP and these support the following Voodoo cards: Voodoo3, Voodoo4 and Voodoo5.

Many bugs have been fixed in all driver revisions, so we've decided to release a beta 4 revision of drivers for each supported operating system. These drivers should work on Voodoo3, Voodoo4, and Voodoo5 cards in all the supported operating systems. As usual, post bugs in the bug reports forum.

Is it just me or can anyone else hit the site for the new 1.09 beta drivers?? No luck so far

yes I just downloaded all three sets, what set you need and ill email you them.?

So far I have to say yes. They are as stable as the 1.04 v of the old 3dfx drivers and they offer some tweaks, including an OC option for the card, don't recomend using it unless you throw some extra cooling at it. Unreal Tournament looks great and no lockups!!

Are these drivers good? A friend of mine is stuck with a Voodoo3 PCI in Windows XP, and he's never gotten it to work very well since he installed XP.

ok, i downloaded these drivers and found they to be good for the most part, but i could not get counter strike to run over 15 - 20 fps @ 1024x768 on my voodoo 4, btw mes running win2k, any ideas on how i could improve upon this cause i couldnt be aresed putting Win ME back on just to get this to work. btw i got a frame rate of about 100 or something stupid like that on ME

as for xp mate, i gave up on that in under about 30 min. too much hassal to get glide to work. but most things worked well for me in D3D with the standard drivers off my 3dfx cd

these drivers work flawlessly......i only have boots when playing empire earth....(pulling 49fps at 800x600 with voodoo 3 3000)

This is what my friend told me after trying out these drivers:

It still lets me complete the installation, but I went ahead and uninstalled it after it was over. Didn't think it worked right.

Any ideas? Any other Voodoo3 XP driver suggestions?

yeah...use the 1.08.04 drivers...they work completly flawlessly.... and are excellent for everything....geometry assist works wonders in DX8 games now....
