Help!!

I just installed a dvd player/cd burner combo drive and when I try and play a dvd it says your tv out function is enabled and needs to be disabled to play copyrighted dvd's some people say it might be a video card update problem but my card says no new updates available anyone know what this error means and how to fix it?

System Specs

Older video cards were not capable of outputing the anti-recording macrovision signal on their TV out, so either the TV-out is disabled (manually or by drivers) or protected DVD cannot be played.

There have been a few hacks to get round it - at one point, using older drivers may have worked - and in some cases hacked drivers were another solution, but I guess they've now thoroughly stitched up anyone with non-macrovision hardware.
