RADEON: 8500 to 9100 bios flashing

One of our board members chainreaction has just informed me that he has flashed the bios on his 8500 to 9100 and it appears to have been successful. from what he has told me the games he has tested have worked fine, and he has seen an increase in UT2003. No noticeable improvement on SC4.

Results with Radeon 8500 7008 bios:
dm-antalus
13.884000 / 29.001028 / 168.642181 fps
Score = 28.996304

Results Radeon 9100 8004 bios:
dm-antalus
9.806321 / 47.024963 / 307.181122 fps
Score = 47.038876

there is discussion about this on our board in several threads, one here, and also over on Rage3d

Please be aware that in flashing your bios you are taking risks which will not be supported in any way by ATI, so if you are unsure, please DONT
