Creative confirms Problem with Soundblaster and AMD Chipset...again

Due to a handful of problems the SoundBlaster X-Fi has been causing nForce4 based motherboard owners, Creative forum representative has anounced a solution.

A problem was identified on nForce4 based systems where the system ran into difficulties, related to the enumeration of the cards with 2MB (X-Fi XtremeMusic and X-Fi Platinum).

View their forum to read more about the problems and solution, or just click on the quote to go directly to the post.

This doesn't seem to be the same as the Soundblaster Live! and VIA chipset problem, and it doesn't look like its threatening to the majority of PC owners who keep their drivers and BIOS up to date.

For those experiencing dificulties, post on Creative's forum for help or feel free to use the house Forum.
