City of Villains, City of Heroes to share subscribers
There's an appeal in gaming to both being good and being evil. NCsoft understands that, which is one of the reasons why it unveiled a unified subscription price for its City of Heroes and City of Villains massively multiplayer role-playing games at the company's City of Villains preview event on Alcatraz Island last night. For $14.99 a month, gamers will get access to both MMORPGs (assuming they've already purchased the core games) and an extra four character slots per game server.
City of Villains will be released October 31 in both a regular edition for $49.99 and a $69.99 collector's edition with a bonus art book and seven HeroClix game pieces. City of Heroes was released in April 2004 and currently retails for $29.99. Both games are rated T for Teen. ___________ Source: GameSpot |

The beta invite for your preorder will probably be a bit longer, I think they're keeping beta open to longtime CoH subscribers only for a bit longer. My guess would be that when they start keeping the beta server up 24/7 or close to it, they'll open the test to CoV preorders.
Trust me, it'll be worth the wait.
