There is one thing that almost all power supplies do well these days: looks. For some power supplies, that turns out to be the only thing that is right. Many of these power supplies are plagued with weak rails, cheap components, and on top of that they are often cheap. In short, they make an attractive, but deceptive buy for consumers. There are a few companies out there whose power supplies do not follow these characteristics. Amongst these companies are big names like OCZ, Fortron, Antec, PC Power & Cooling, and SilverStone Technology. Today in our testing labs we have the Cooler Master Real Power 450W. Will it fall under the category of flashy failures? Or will it be able to join the ranks of the elite?
