DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D

Until 2003, DFI was certainly seen mainly as an OEM supplier of motherboards, and that was it. They were hardly considered a major player in the enthusiast and overclocking scene. But 2003 started a new era at DFI. They came out with their first board in the LanParty series, and it took the enthusiast market by storm. DFI has continued to build on the LanParty theme and success, and has produced many other boards that follow the same concept.

The LanParty Series comes in 2 different flavors basically. You have the ful fledged LanParty package, and then you have the UT series. The main difference is the packaging, (for instance, you do not get the FrontX box, the Carry case, the cable sleeving and a few other goodies with the UT series) and as far as I could see on the board, the UT SLI differs from the LanParty SLI in that it lacks the 4 Silicon SATA ports. We have one of the latest and greatest from DFI in the test rig to look at: the DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D.
