Razer's Diamondback: The Mouse that Roars?

Razer's Diamondback mouse boasts a very fast sensor, superior resolution and a sleek design. But is that enough to put it in the big leagues against competing devices from the likes of mouse pioneer Logitech? Our tests show whether the mouse squeaks or roars.

digitalwanderer is an unknown quantity at this point

I'm kind of iffy on the side buttons, I heard they're a bit akward. (I've been thinking of replacing my intellimouse optical 5-button that I've been using for the past 4 years or so, it's a BIIIG decision for me! )

The boomslang 2K from Razer was and still is a great mouse (despite no optical) - the new one they have sounds like a terrific mouse - Although I like the MX700 (nice feel and wireless does work well with that mice).

The MX510 doesn't fit me- I bought it and had to return it because the shape does not work at all with the left hand (Obviously I am left handed). This might be the way to go.

Well, this is alot more viable option now, earlier when it was first released I looked around and the price was $100. Now that it has become more standard, it looks like a real possibility. I will not get it, however, unless it hits retail so I can physically compare it to logitechs for ergonomics. Heh, overclocking the mouse .... I really wish the mouse control panel would say what CPI results from each slider, instead of numberless, relative positions.
