The hint of something new coming to Catalyst suite is something new to me.

BTW, Terry if you can answer this question:

Are there any new things coming for Hydravision? It's been awhile since that portion of the Catalyst suite was touched. Just curious is all. Thanks

Part of the "very big thing" I referenced to coming in 2-3 months will touch aspects of Hydravision as well.

Do you use it much?

I have it on.

I like the transparent menu and transparent window while dragging options. I would use the shadow effect feature, but I found it buggy in the current version and I was waiting for further development for it. The bugginess I speak of occurs when I close some windows or dialog boxes and the shadow is still there. I have to press "Show Desktop" shortcut on my Quick Launch to clear it from the desktop.

I also like the move to preferred monitor feature.

P.S - I don't know if this is due to HydraVision/Catalyst or MSI's Driver for TV@Nywhere, but whenever I try to move the TV when it's playing to another monitor, I'm unable to view anything on the TV's screen. It just goes black. ( Maybe I should have posted about this in the Tech forum...)

"It will take graphic drivers to a brand new level, and of course will be another ATI first. It will be interesting to see how long before other companies will copy the concept after we launch it."

I think this is pretty interesting... Maybe tenndevil didn't read that part, it really makes me start thinking about drivers, and what other companies don't have now, but will want to copy after it is implemented in Catalystâ„¢.

(do I win an X800 if I guess what it is?)

how long before nvidia does!... you mean .. becouse nvida has been doing alot of that sorta thing recently last couple releases have alot of stiff simular to the stuff that was never before seen till ati came out with it. for example an overdrive "like" feature just to name one.. I'm not going into details but it seems driver cheating isn't nvida stops...
