New Realtek ALC AC97 Audio Driver v3.57

Realtek released version 3.57 driver for their ALC AC97 audio chipsets. The driver supports all ALC series audio chipsets from ALC100 up to ALC650 mainly used as onboard sound on various motherboards.

The ALC650 incorporates proprietary converter technology to achieve a high SNR, greater than 90 dB. The ALC650 AC'97 CODEC supports multiple CODEC extensions with independent variable sampling rates and built-in 3D effects. The ALC650 CODEC provides two pairs of stereo outputs with independent volume controls, a mono output, and multiple stereo and mono inputs, along with flexible mixing, gain and mute functions to provide a complete integrated audio solution for PCs.

hummmmmm, I wonder how they would work on my nForce board, it is the ALC650 chip. I might have to give them a try.

what is the diffence? i tried this and they have the same fuctions ans the nvida driver but i loose use iof nvmixer etc

i'm happy with the nForce drivers that came with my m/b - ALC650 codecâ€¦ but then i only use this when i play games, i use my Live! for everything else
