Tyan’s Tiger K8W Dual Opteron Motherboard Review
"So, you’ve decided that you want a dual Opteron workstation motherboard. When boards were first being released, it was difficult to find a decent motherboard with a respectable feature set to install those shiny new Opteron processors into. The only dual Opteron platforms available were server motherboards, which not only were expensive, but they didn't have AGP connectivity, making them incompatible with most workstation configurations. After a few months, the first wave of workstation class motherboards hit. These boards which had AGP connectivity, but were also monstrously large (utilizing the Extended ATX form factor) and quite expensive to boot. In stark contrast, today's latest dual Opteron boards are not that expensive, can fit in standard ATX cases, have AGP connectivity, and have a pretty useful onboard features.'

Tyan makes awsome high end boards, but their low end really leaves something to be desired.
