The unit records at 2.4x speed in DVD+RW and DVD+R mode, and offers CD recording rates of 2x, 4x, 8x, and 12x (CD-R) and 2x, 4x, and 10x (CD-RW).

Further expanding the device’s versatility is its wide variety of write options. In DVD+RW mode the Ikebana DVD+RW/+R supports both random access write and sequential write (sequential write in DVD+R), while CD-R and CD-RW offers Disc At Once, Session At Once, Track At Once, Multi- Session, and Packet Write. The product’s CD configuration offers all formats including CD-DA, CD- ROM, CD-ROM XA, CD-Extra, CD-I, Mixed-mode CD, Video CD, Photo CD, CD Text, and Bootable CD.

Hehe, I like the name. Ikebana, in Japan, is an art-form that involves arranging flowers.
