Review: Soyo P4I875P Dragon 2 Motherboard

Soyo was one of the first companies to ship motherboards bundled with a complete line of accessories. And at a time when most motherboards looked fairly bland, Soyo started coloring PCI slots purple and experimented with printed circuit board colors.

P4I875P Dragon 2 is Soyo's latest iteration retail motherboard. The Dragon 2 uses Intel's 875P chipset, supporting dual-channel DDR400 memory and native Serial ATA. The board offers RAID support through Intel's ICH5R I/O controller hub and a Silicon Image PCI SATA chip. Eschewing the standard AC97 audio supplied by the Intel ICH5R, Soyo has integrated a C-Media PCI audio part directly onto the motherboard.
